Olympic Day Celebrated at Ideal Schools

Edappal: World Olympic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Kadakassery Ideal School.

The highlight of the celebration was an Olympic Rally featuring Scouts and Guides, skating students, swimmers, taekwondo practitioners, and football enthusiasts.

The rally was inaugurated by Shafi Ammayath, Head of the Sports Department. Addressing the students, he emphasized the importance of making sports a part of daily life and understanding the values of teamwork and discipline.

The rally was officially flagged off by lighting the Olympic Torch, symbolizing sporting excellence and team spirit.

As part of the celebrations, various sports competitions and recreational activities, including skating, football, swimming, and taekwondo events, added excitement to the occasion.
