Kadakassery Ideal Students Bring World Cup Excitement to Campus

Edappal: Students of Kadakassery Ideal English School captured attention by bringing the excitement of the FIFA World Cup to their campus.

With only a few days remaining before the World Cup matches, the school’s Sports Department organized a series of colorful and engaging events that created a festive atmosphere on campus.

A variety of programmes, including a World Cup Fan March, friendly football matches, football quiz competitions, and shootout contests, were conducted. Students arrived wearing jerseys, carrying flags, and sporting fan accessories representing teams such as Argentina, Portugal, Brazil, Spain, Germany, and Mexico. The campus transformed into a World Cup arena filled with cheers and excitement.

Ideal School, which has consistently secured first place at the State School Sports Meet, has also won the State Government’s Best Sports School Award. The events were coordinated by nearly fifteen sports teachers under the leadership of Shafi Ammayath, Head of the Sports Department.

Teachers remarked that the celebration, which turned football into a grand festival, was an unforgettable experience for the students. They also noted that the programme helped promote team spirit, sportsmanship, and physical fitness alongside the excitement of the game.
