Awareness Class on ‘Adolescence and Hygiene’ Conducted at Kadakassery Ideal School

Edappal: As part of the Malayala Manorama Nallapadam programme, an awareness class on “Adolescence and Hygiene” was organized for girl students at Ideal English School (CBSE), Kadakassery.

The programme was inaugurated by CBSE Principal Priya Aravind. HM Vijayanand presided over the function, while Beena Suresh, Head of the Science Department, led the awareness session.

The session provided detailed guidance on the physical and emotional changes during adolescence, personal hygiene, menstrual hygiene, proper nutrition, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Students’ questions and concerns related to adolescence were addressed by the resource person, who also emphasized the importance of developing healthy habits as a part of everyday life.

Nallapadam Coordinator M. Sandhya and teachers Asma and C. V. Sindhu coordinated the programme.
