Sahodaya Chess Tournament: Ideal Kadakassery Crowned Champions
Ideal English School, Kadakassery, once again emerged as the overall champions in the District Sahodaya Chess Tournament held at ISS School, Perinthalmanna, under Malappuram Central Sahodaya. Remarkably, this is the 12th consecutive year that Ideal has claimed the championship title.
With participation from over 500 students representing more than 50 schools across the district, the tournament witnessed tough competition. Ideal’s students shone brightly in multiple categories:
•Under-12 Boys and Girls – First Place
•Under-14 Boys and Girls – First Place
•Under-17 Girls – First Place, Under-17 Boys – Third Place
•Under-19 Girls – First Place, Under-19 Boys – Second Place
With these outstanding performances across categories, Ideal secured the overall championship once again.
The winners, along with coach K. Vijayakumari and teachers Muhammad Noufal, Akhesh Dev, and Ibrahim, were congratulated by Manager Majeed Ideal, Senior Principal F. Firoz, and CBSE Principal Priya Aravind.
