Eid-al-Adha  Celebrations at Ideal English School– A Celebration of Culture and Unity

The Middle Section of Ideal English School came alive with joy and enthusiasm on Saturday, June 15, 2024, as students celebrated the festival of Bakrid with a series of engaging and meaningful activities. The event aimed to instill the universal values of brotherhood, compassion, and cultural appreciation among the students.

The celebration took place within individual classrooms, where students enthusiastically participated in a variety of programs. Class teachers played an integral role in ensuring the success of the event by guiding and encouraging students throughout the activities.

Highlights of the Celebration

🔹 Greeting Card Competition: As part of the celebration, students eagerly designed and crafted beautiful greeting cards, which they later exchanged with their friends. This activity not only showcased their creativity but also strengthened bonds of friendship and unity.

🔹 Craft Expo: The craft exhibition was a spectacular display of students’ artistic talents, bringing them closer to each other’s traditions and cultural beliefs. Through their creative expressions, students reflected on the essence and values of Bakrid.

🔹 Calligraphy Art: To further enrich the celebrations, students engaged in calligraphy, producing elegant Arabic and English inscriptions related to the festival. Their dedication and effort added a unique artistic touch to the occasion.

🔹 Mehendi Fest: Both teachers and students participated in the Mehendi Fest, adorning their hands with intricate henna designs. The joyful atmosphere and shared experiences strengthened the bond between students and teachers.

🔹 Bakrid Songs: The celebration concluded with a soulful rendition of Bakrid songs by the students. These songs beautifully conveyed the significance of this holy festival, leaving a lasting impact on everyone present,during the occasion
