District Athletics: Ideal Wins Overall Championship
Thenhipalam: The District Central Schools Athletics Meet was held at the Calicut University Stadium.
Ideal English School, Kadakassery won the Overall Championship with 350 points.
A total of 1,200 students from 141 schools took part in the event.
Ideal’s Performance
•Under-14 Boys: 1st place (141 points)
•Under-14 Girls: 2nd place
•Under-17 Boys: 1st place (126 points)
•Under-17 Girls: 2nd place (53 points)
•Under-19 Boys: 1st place (48 points)
•Under-19 Girls: 2nd place (13 points)
25 students from Ideal qualified for the state-level competition.
Medals Won
•Gold: 11
•Silver: 11
•Bronze: 12
Special Achievements
•Midhun K. was selected as the Best Athlete.
•Ideal won the Sub-junior Relay Trophy.
