CBSE District Sports Meet 2025 : Ideal Kadakassery Overall Champions

At the CBSE District Sports Meet organized by Malappuram Central Sahodaya and held over two days at the Calicut University Stadium, Ideal English School, Kadakassery emerged as the overall champions.

Ideal English School, Kadakassery secured the championship with a total of 480.5 points, winning 32 gold, 23 silver, and 25 bronze medals. Kadakassery Ideal English School, which has been the State School Sports Champion for four consecutive years, once again displayed an outstanding performance by achieving a brilliant victory at the CBSE Sports Meet as well. The training team, led by Shafi Ammayath, Head of the Sports Department, included Haris Rahman, E. Thasni, Haneena, Lubna, and Daniya. Peevees Model School, Nilambur secured the second position with 371.33 points, winning 20 gold, 28 silver, and 15 bronze medals.
Guidance Public School, Edakkara finished third with 155.33 points, winning 3 gold, 12 silver, and 13 bronze medals. With 131 points, MES Central School, Puthanathani secured the fourth position, while Noble Public School, Manjeri finished fifth with 107.5 points. At the closing ceremony, presided over by Naufal Puthanpeediyakkal, President of Malappuram Central Sahodaya, Dr. K. P. Manoj, Director of Sports, Calicut University, inaugurated the function and distributed the prizes. Sahodaya General Secretary C. C. Aneesh Kumar, Manoj Mathew, Fr. Thomas Joseph, V. P. Muhammad Kasim, Shafi Ammayath, Rafiq Muhammad, K. K. Ravindran, Shahul Hameed K, and Mubashir P. addressed the gathering.
